As the contents of Desperate Sims Equestrian branch beyond just "Staff", since this is not simply one stable but a network of characters through both Twinbrook and Appaloosa Plains (as well as several members of the community making guest appearances in the main story), I have chosen to simply call this section "riders" to signify that yes. They be ridin' horses.
The following, then, are the characters that I most frequently enter competitions in the Equus community with--including information about their character, the horse(s) they most frequently ride, their participation in events, and all other pertinent information.

Margo Kane has never exactly been one of grace and beauty. Most days, it just takes all her concentration not to tie her own shoelaces together, and more often than not, she fails not to stub her toe on the same step she's stubbed her toe on a dozen times before. She's a clutz, and she's a mess; her mom tries to guess when the last time Margo's hair saw a brush, and Margo keeps lying.
As awkward as she is, though, Margo manages to make up for it with the biggest heart imaginable. She has her moments of regret, but even the smallest animals feel drawn to her because of her obvious capacity for compassion. She never says much, and what she does say hardly ever comes out right, but to her friends with fur, this has never mattered a bit.
At the moment, Margo is training at the Lawrence Equestrian Academy, where she is learning the art of dressage, show jumping and cross-country. Though she makes lots of fumbles and never has any aspirations for winning, she never fails to amaze herself no matter how she performs--but someday, she does dream of being the Best of the Best.

There are few girls out there with as surly a disposition as Daisy de Wynter. Few can recall when she's ever been nice--and even fewer can recall the last time she smiled. Nothing in the world lives up to her expectations, and she has no problems announcing this--leading to there being very few people out there willing to remain in her company.
However, if her arrogance gives her anything, it's incredible ambition. Daisy never stops trying to improve, and always expects the best--so she accepts nothing less than First Place from herself. "You're first, or you're last." Not the most poetic words to live by, but she lives by them all the same.
Though Daisy's talents span over many areas--writing, schoolwork, debate, and even art--she has always favored the riding arts most of all. Her family's rather enormous wealth--a tragic gift from her late father--has afforded her luxuries such as her own horse, "Mumba", as well as a place in LEC's Riding Academy.
